Prayer meet for Narendra Jha held in Mumbai

Actor died due to a sudden heart attack at his farmhouse in Nanegaon

A prayer meeting was held in Mumbai on Sunday for Bollywood actor Narendra Jha who died last week.

Filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker, actor K.K. Menon, Raza Murad, Mohit Raina, Sushant Singh, Amit Behal, Neetu Chandra and Manoj Joshi among others were present at the meeting in the Iskcon complex in Juhu.

Jha died due to a sudden heart attack at his farmhouse in Nanegaon, Nasik, on Wednesday. He was 55.

Born and brought up in Delhi, Jha acted in films such as Haider, Raees, Mohenjo Daro and Kaabil.

He worked with iconic filmmakers such as Shyam Benegal in the film Neta Ji Shubhash Chandra Bose, The Last Hero and one of his plays Samvidhaan where Jha played the character of Mohammad Ali Jinnah.

He was signed up for the upcoming Salman Khan film Race 3.
