Aasif Khan, 34, shared a health update on Instagram, saying he's on the road to recovery
Actor Aasif Khan, known for his roles in Mirzapur, Paatal Lok, and Panchayat, suffered a heart attack on Monday evening. He was admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai and is currently in stable condition and recovering.
While the exact cause of his hospitalisation has not been officially disclosed, reports suggest that the heart attack occurred two days prior to his admission.
On Tuesday, Aasif shared a health update via Instagram, posting a photo of the ceiling above his hospital bed. Alongside the image, he wrote:
“Realising after watching this for past 36 hours — life is short, don’t take one day for granted. Everything can change in a moment. Be grateful for all you have and all that you are. Remember who is more important to you and always cherish them. Life is a gift and we are blessed.”
In a follow-up Instagram Story, Aasif added:
“Over the past few hours, I’ve been dealing with some health issues that required hospitalisation. I’m grateful to share that I’m now on the road to recovery and feeling much better. I truly appreciate all the love, concern, and well-wishes. Your support means the world to me. I’ll be back very soon. Until then, thank you for keeping me in your thoughts.”
Most recently, Aasif Khan appeared in the horror-comedy The Bhootnii, where he shared the screen with Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt.
