Mumbai: Ashraf Ul Haq, fondly known as “Smackiya” from the film Fukrey, died on Tuesday night after a prolonged illness. He was in his 40s. A grieving film fraternity remembers him as a “gentle human being”.

A flurry of tweets from B-town accompanied the announcement:
