DIFC officials meet with China’s Vice Minister of Commerce

Dubai: Senior officials from the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) received a delegation from China on Tuesday, led by Qian Keming, China’s Vice Minister of Commerce.

According to a statement from DIFC, the meeting focused on the growing importance of DIFC’s long-standing relationship with Chinese institutions, and areas of collaboration that can support the One Belt, One Road initiative.

Essa Kazim, governor of the DIFC, and Arif Amiri, chief executive officer of DIFC Authority, represented the financial centre in the meeting, during which Kazim and Amiri acknowledged the commitment of many Chinese companies.
