Regional Development Director from the WRDC, will be taking part in the panel discussions held on the sidelines of the forum
Abu Dhabi: The Western Region Development Council (WRDC) is participating in the sixth “UAE Global Investment Forum”, that begins tomorrow at Sowwah Island, Abu Dhabi.
WRDC endeavours through its active participation in the Forum, to shed light on the investment opportunities in Al Gharbia and the priority economic sectors such as energy, petrochemicals, food and tourism. In addition, the Council strives to put a spotlight on the region’s vast potential that is rich in natural resources and investment opportunities, making it the ideal area for investment for companies and investors from within the UAE and from abroad.
Mohammad Ibrahim Al Hosani, Regional Development Director from the WRDC will be taking part in the panel discussions held on the sidelines of the forum. These discussions will open a window of opportunity for broadening their professional network with investors on both local and international level and highlight the investment potential and competitive advantages that place the region on the global investment map.
On this occasion, Mohamed Hamad bin Azzan Al Mazrouei, Acting Under-Secretary of the Ruler’s Representative Court in the Western Region and Director-General of the Western Region Development Council said: “Our participation in this forum comes within our strategic plans that aim at contributing to the ongoing sustainable development process in the region, promoting economic diversification and placing the region as the ultimate investment destination locally, regionally and internationally in all priority sectors such as energy, petrochemicals, food and tourism.”
Al Mazrouei emphasized on the council’s commitment to developing the Western Region and achieving sustainable development in all sectors according to Abu Dhabi Vision 2030.
