Unibeton Ready Mix sets record in pouring concrete

Dubai: Unibeton Ready Mix said it had laid the basement of Al Attar Sky Spiral, a 49-level residential tower in Al Sofouh, Dubai, in a record time.

The company poured concrete over 22,000 square metres - the equivalent of filling nine Olympic-sized swimming pools - in just 35 hours.

The company is the concrete supplier for many of the region's landmark projects, including Palm Island Jumeirah, the new Garhoud Bridge and RTA road interchange projects.

Unibeton is also the largest concrete supplier in the country.

A senior official from the company said: "We had a dedicated team of the best in the business - scientists, technicians, engineers and other skilled employees all with a commitment to quality and to testing the untested.

"So I was always confident that we would deliver this landmark pour on time and with the highest quality results."
