UAE, Tunisia discuss boosting bilateral ties

Both countries keen to enhance cooperation in key economic sectors

Dubai: The UAE’s Minister of Economy, Sultan Al Mansouri, met with the Tunisian Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts, Salma Al Lumi Al Raqeeq, to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries.

The two ministers said their countries are keen on enhancing cooperation across key economic sectors including tourism, investment, trade, and civil aviation. Al Mansouri said the value of non-oil trade between the UAE and Tunisia reached over Dh1.5 billion in 2016, up 7 per cent year-on-year.
