Abu Dhabi: The UAE is committed to further strengthening trade and economic relations with Mexico and maximising the potentials of their partnership, said Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy, during a meeting with Francisca Escobar, Mexico’s Ambassador to the UAE. The two sides affirmed the importance of strengthening cooperation in the aviation sector because of its direct impact on the availability of broader trade and tourism opportunities. Al Mansouri noted that their bilateral foreign trade has been growing significantly, with their non-oil trade in particular exceeding $1 billion (Dh3.67 billion) inclusive of trade in the free zones during the first nine months of 2016.
