ISLAMABAD: The Ambassador of United Arab Emirates (UAE) His Excellency Hamad Ubaid Al Zaabi has called for promoting business ties between Pakistan and UAE. He said that there was a dire need to increase interaction between the chambers of business and businessmen of both the countries to explore trade opportunities.

Al Zaabi called on the President of Sardar Group of Companies Sardar Tanveer IIyas Khan at The Centaurus in Islamabad on December 13 to exchange views and promote interaction between the business community of Pakistan and UAE.

Al Zaabi and Tanveer discussed the tremendous potential for both Pakistan and UAE in the field of trade and commerce. The UAE ambassador said that he aims to increase collaboration between the chamber of commerce of both countries. He suggested increasing the mutual understanding on trade between the two brotherly countries.

The ambassador was briefed by Sardar Tanveer IIyas Khan on the company’s projects including the iconic project Centaurus Residencia and Mall and other projects of Sardar Group of Companies within Pakistan and abroad.

The Centaurus project which includes three 23-floor residential and office towers and a five-storey shopping mall, has been developed by Pak Gulf Construction, Al Mahad Group of Companies of Saudi Arabia and Sardar Group of Companies of Pakistan.

Al Zaabi appreciated the projects of Centaurus. He said there was no doubt that it was a landmark project for Pakistan and a trendsetter for future development.
