UAE, Albania sign agreement on avoidance of double taxation

Tirana: UAE Foreign Minister Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan met in Albanian capital Tirana Ditmir Bushati, Albania’s Foreign Minister, and discussed with him avenues of joint cooperation between the two friendly countries.

The two ministers signed an agreement on avoidance of double taxation on income. They also signed two memoranda of understanding (MoU) on establishment of a joint UAE-Albania committee and on cooperation in higher education and scientific research. Shaikh Abdullah said that the signing of the financial economic and education agreements today underscored the UAE’s quest to further strengthen its bonds with Albania.
