Dubai: A hotel that is set to open this summer in Dubai promises to give guests a spooktacular time.
Guests can book a room in The Haunted Hotel at IMG Worlds of Adventure, which opens August 15, by visitingIMGworlds.com, according to a statement from IMG Worlds of Adventure.
Owned by the Ilyas and Mustafa Galadari Group, the hotel targets both residents and tourists. Jack and Scott Donavan will manage the property.
“Although there are hundreds of hotels close by, we wanted to do something different and the way the Donovan brothers like to run a business caught our attention,” said Lennard Otto, chief executive of IMG Worlds of Adventure.
Upon entering, guests will be welcomed by “a sickly stench that fills the air and can later enjoy the haunting soundtrack of hair-raising screams”, according to the statement.
“The Haunted Hotel is not the kind of place where you can expect fresh towels and luxury shampoos. Similarly, the food is a meat-lovers delight…,” the statement added.
IMG Worlds of Adventure will feature more than 20 rides and attractions based around Marvel and Cartoon Network characters and dinosaurs, as well as a 12-screen Novo Cinemas, 28 food and beverage and 25 retail outlets. The park has four themed zones in total, including Cartoon Network, Marvel, IMG Boulevard and the Lost Valley-Dinosaur Adventure.
Tickets to the indoor theme park are already on sale on the IMG Worlds of Adventure website.
