Starwood expands Saudi footprint with property in Makkah

Dubai: US hotel chain Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide is expanding its presence in Saudi Arabia with the opening of a hotel in Makkah, according to a company statement on Monday.

Owned by Altayyar Travel Group Holding Company, Sheraton Makkah Jabal Al Kaaba is scheduled to open by the end of this year. The hotel is located close to the new expansion of the mosque.

Sheraton Makkah Jabal Al Kaaba will feature 414 rooms and branded service apartments.
