Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, launched several projects in the emirate as he visited the newly developed Creek Heights Residence Hotel yesterday.
Accompanied by Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and Shaikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Shaikh Mohammad inaugurated the Creek Heights Residence project, which consists of two towers.
The first tower is Hyatt Regency Creek Heights Residence, while the second one comprises hotel apartments.
Shaikh Mohammad toured the luxury hotel and its suites, halls and rooms, as well as sports, tourist and leisure facilities that serve as attractions for tourists and visitors from the country and abroad.
The hotel, which overlooks Dubai Creek, near Dubai Healthcare City, comprises two halls equipped with the latest sound and lighting technologies, designated for weddings, parties and conferences.
Creek Heights Residence project was implemented by Wasl Asset Management Group, a subsidiary of Dubai Real Estate Corporation.
During the visit, Shaikh Mohammad launched three development projects undertaken by Wasl Group, including Zabeel Park 1, which is constructed in Zabeel Park, to become an urban island in the heart of Dubai.
The project represents a stunning environment and is characterised by key elements to attract tourists and visitors to enjoy the first year-round first snow fountain and a water fountain for entertainment.
The project will be equipped with the latest lighting technologies, reflecting the contemporary urban nature and the beauty of Zabeel Park.
It will consist of modern residential buildings, offices, hotels and retail shops. The main tower in the project will take the shape of number 1, signifying Dubai’s endeavour to be number one
The project will also include cafes and restaurants and recreational facilities and services that meet the needs of all family members.
Shaikh Mohammad then viewed the giant model of Al Wasl Tower, which will be constructed on Shaikh Zayed Road, where the project appears to be one of the most important landmarks of Dubai. It will be an integrated vertical city according to new standards used in tower engineering. The tower will comprise the world’s tallest ceramic façade, in addition to vertical gardens and the light museum — the first of its kind in the region, to showcase the history, art and technologies in this area.
Shaikh Mohammad also viewed a model of Dubai Gate, a unique innovative project that stands as a city of innovation and creativity, the gateway to Dubai, from Jebel Ali near the Dubai Metro station in Jebel Ali.
He also viewed the models and designs of giant projects carried out by Wasl Group over the past few years, most notably Dar Wasl project on Al Wasl Road, Jumeirah.
Dar Al Wasl is in a much sought after location and situated on prime land in Jumeirah on approximately 80,000 square metres. The central site is close to the myriad of community amenities Jumeirah has to offer, including quality schools, retail, medical centres and the beach, in addition to impressive views across to Business Bay.
The project is a superior residential development comprising attached two-storey townhouses that offer either three or four bedrooms; a three-storey residential road-facing building that boasts retail outlets at the ground level. The master plan seeks to enhance this popular established community through the construction of attractive Mediterranean-themed housing and the advantageous addition of eminent neighbourhood facilities.
Shaikh Mohammad expressed his satisfaction with the promising projects, which will boost the national economy and help develop and stimulate the tourism sector in the emirate.
