Dubai: The third edition of Global Islamic Economy Summitt was opened by Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai’s Crown Prince in Dubai.

The summitt was also attended by Obaid al Tayer, minister of state for financial affairs and Majid Saif Al Ghurair, chairman of Dubai Chamber of commerce and industry.

Attended by other thousands of local and foreign delegates, the summit deliberated on issues surrounding the Islamic economy including the scalable solutions to empower the next generation and ways to harness the under utilised capital for social development  among others.

The summitt will end on Wednesday or October 12.
