Seoul: A total of 16 broadcasting, animation, and game companies, including Korea’s MBC, are expected to take part in the Big Entertainment Show (BES) in Dubai, previously known as (Dubai World Game Expo, MYCONTENT Show, and Dubai International Character & Licensing Fair).
The Big Entertainment Show will be held at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre in Dubai on November 27 and 28.
The Korean participation will come through an event named “Welcon Korea” and during their participation at the BES they will provide information regarding Korea’s contents industry, paving the way for the two nations to actively exchange more cultural contents.
The Korean’s contents will be displayed and introduced on November 26 at 2pm through a pitching event with an aim to introduce a better understanding of the Korean wave contents which is highly appreciated and welcomed by the whole world.
Furthermore, at 3pm on November 29, K-Pop stars are slated to perform a traditional Korean cultural event which will be held at the Dubai Mall-Star Atrium, enabling participants to directly experience the Korean Culture.
The organisers of the event are holding a lot of surprises for visitors and participants as an appreciation for the Emarati and Middle Eastern support in highlighting the importance of this industry by organising the only event in the Middle East specialised in Cartoon, animation, games, licensing, media content and more.
