Dubai: Ramadan will start again soon and what comes after that is Eid Al Fitr, one of the most popular holidays that UAE residents -- especially vacation seekers -- look forward to every year.

If you’re eyeing a trip this Eid or anytime in June and you’re waiting until the last minute to book a vacation, you could be paying more out of your pocket. Given the high demand, ticket costs tend to go up around summertime, and last-minute bookings are notoriously expensive.

The good news is that some airlines, including flydubai and Emirates, have just kicked off their promotional offers for the summer, and they’re offering relatively cheaper rates for those who wish to schedule their trip around the end of Ramadan.

Prices for return flights can cost as low as Dh900 to a little over Dh2,000, depending on where UAE residents are headed for the annual vacation.

At flydubai, travellers have until June 2, 2018 to secure airfares ranging between Dh900 and Dh1,500 for trips to Georgia, Italy, Croatia, Poland, Azerbaijan and Greece, among others.

The prices are valid for trips between June 15 and November 30, 2018.

At Emirates, travellers can book flights to London, Istanbul,  Bangkok, Moscow, Prague, Greece, Vienna, Frankfurt and Zurich, among others, for just a little over Dh2,000.

Flights to other destinations, including Beirut, Dar Es Salaam, Nairobi, Colombo, Addis Ababa and Amman can be booked for less than Dh2,000.

Emirates' special fares are expiring in two days and valid for travel only between June 10 and June 15, 2018.
