Du is investing in e-SIM network infrastructure

Dubai-based telecom operator du said that they are currently investing in the necessary infrastructure to roll out e-SIM enabled products in the UAE. It did not specify a date.

In an emailed statement to Gulf News, the operator said: “We have always been committed to providing the best telecommunication experience. The e-SIM opens up new market opportunities and enables entire new categories of connected devices.”

The operator said that have been actively working with the TRA, GSMA [a trade group that represents network operators using GSM technology] and technology partners to bring the technology to its customers.
