Abu Dhabi

In a boost to local manufacturing and Made in the UAE programme of the government, Exechon Enterprises, a joint-venture company that consists of Abu Dhabi-based Injaz National, Lockheed Martin and Sweden based Tecgrant AB, announced that it has sold its first automotive production XMini industrial robot to Refco Metals.

“As the United Arab Emirates seeks to double its gross domestic product contributions through local manufacturing, partnerships like the XMini-Refco relationship are critical to ensuring that ‘Made in the UAE’ is realised in a practical way,” said Shafik Nasser, Chairman of Exechon Enterprises.

Refco Metals, a Dubai-based manufacturer of aluminium assemblies for luxury automobiles will use the XMini to manufacture a broad range of automotive-grade aluminium alloy extrusions.
