Dubai: UAE federal government entities will now be able to purchase products from LuLu Hypermarket at exclusive discounted rates following a new agreement signed between the Ministry of Finance and the retail group.

The deal integrates LuLu’s e-commerce store with the federal government’s digital procurement platform through a feature known as “Punch Out.” This allows users from federal entities to access LuLu’s online catalogue directly through the official system, select items, and complete purchases without leaving the platform.

The initiative is part of the Ministry of Finance’s efforts to improve efficiency and reduce procurement timelines across federal entities by expanding access to approved suppliers and simplifying digital workflows.

The “Punch Out” feature is expected to support faster order processing, more transparent transactions, and greater cost control. According to the Ministry, the feature will help reduce the typical procurement cycle from up to 60 days to just a few minutes.

The Federal Catalogue currently includes over 120,000 products and services across 35 categories from more than 400 registered suppliers.

The Ministry also said the agreement aligns with its strategy to digitise government operations and improve public sector procurement in line with federal law.
