Dubai: The Trump family has unveiled a new mobile phone brand, marking its latest venture into consumer services.

According to multiple media reports, the service — called T1 Mobile — will carry the Trump name and launch with promises of affordability, American-made components, and conservative values.

Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr. announced the new offering from Trump Mobile at Trump Tower in New York. The launch coincided with the 10-year anniversary of former US President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign announcement.

The service will operate as a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) — meaning it will lease access from existing 5G networks in the US rather than build its own infrastructure. The T1 Mobile plan will be priced at $47.45 per month, offering unlimited calls, texts, and data.

In addition to standard services, subscribers will also receive access to telehealth consultations, device protection plans, and roadside assistance through a partnership with Drive America. The company also plans to set up a 250-seat US-based customer service center, reinforcing its pitch as a “Made in America” brand.

“We’ve partnered with some of the greatest people in the industry to make sure that real Americans get true value from their mobile carriers,” said Donald Trump Jr., as quoted by Bloomberg.

Release in gold colour

Though the T1 Phone, set to be released in gold color by August, will not be manufactured directly by Trump Mobile, it is expected to be produced in the US by third-party manufacturers. A trademark application for both the Trump name and "T1" was filed last week by DTTM Operations LLC, covering a range of telecom-related products including handsets, cases, chargers, and services.

The move comes amid a trend where public personalities and niche brands are entering the MVNO space. Bloomberg notes that celebrities like Ryan Reynolds, who helped popularize Mint Mobile before its sale to T-Mobile for $1.35 billion, and the Smartless podcast team, who recently launched a low-data MVNO, are increasingly entering the mobile business to target specific communities.

While some critics have raised concerns about potential conflicts of interest or ethical issues — especially with the Trump family’s other ongoing ventures — the mobile brand appears positioned as a lifestyle product geared towards a specific customer base.

More details about device availability and retail distribution are expected ahead of the official August launch.
