Dubai: The Shaadi.com website, described as the world's largest online matrimonial service, said yesterday that it had chosen The Sphinx Group to represent it in the GCC.

Shaadi.com claims it has been helping clients get married since 1996, and has more than 20 million registered members worldwide.

The company says its member introductions have resulted in more than 1.3 million marriages.

Shaadi.com said the Sphinx Group would offer consultation services, to help it raise its brand awareness and relevance in the Gulf.

Shaadi.com's staff will also work to improve the company's customer service, distribution and support systems throughout the region.
