Dubai: Fujifilm Middle East and Africa has inaugurated its new offices at Expo City Dubai, strengthening its presence in the Middle East and Africa. The expansion includes the launch of the Fujifilm Technology Center (FTC), a regional hub for innovation, product demonstrations, and professional training.

The Japanese multinational, known for its healthcare, imaging, and printing technologies, is projecting double-digit growth in the region for a second consecutive year. The new offices aim to enhance the company’s proximity to partners and customers, and support its regional expansion strategy.

The FTC will serve as a platform for hands-on training and live demonstrations for clients and professionals across the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and Asia. It will also play a role in Fujifilm’s AI-driven healthcare initiatives, including the planned rollout of NURA screening centres in the UAE.

Fujifilm’s investment aligns with the UAE’s focus on innovation and healthcare advancement. It also supports the company’s Emiratization efforts, with plans to expand its workforce to support FTC operations.

Japanese Ambassador to the UAE, Ken Okaniwa, and Expo City Dubai Chief Engagement Officer Manal AlBayat, both highlighted the strategic importance of Fujifilm’s investment to the UAE-Japan partnership and the Expo City business ecosystem.

Fujifilm has more than doubled its staff in the Middle East and Africa over the past five years, with operations spanning the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, Morocco, and South Africa.
