Chinese book sales amount to more than $10b in 2016
Dubai: Thirty-five Chinese publishing houses visited Sharjah Publishing City (SPC) on Monday to explore investment opportunities and view the facilities on offer.
During the visit, the representatives from China and the SPC discussed ways of boosting cooperation and increasing investment in the local, regional and international markets through the emirate of Sharjah. Statistics showed that in 2016, the book retail market in China saw an annual growth of 12.3 per cent.
SPC provides an investment environment for publishers from around the world through a range of facilities and services which include printing, licensing and distribution.
