Plan to grant housing aid of Dh260m in Sharjah

Sharjah: The Sharjah Housing Department will immediately begin procedures for granting housing aid of Dh 260 million to the first batch of 394 beneficiaries.

The move comes after the Sharjah Executive Council approved the names of beneficiaries in line with the directives of His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.

Engineer Khalifa Al Tunaiji, Member of the Executive Council and head of the Housing Department, thanked Shaikh Sultan for his initiative to provide Emirati citizens in the emirate with appropriate housing.

He said the department will release the list of housing aid beneficiaries on a quarterly basis. The total number of beneficiaries is 5,000 citizens.
