Dubai: Now sell Emaar homes digitally.

Dubai's biggest developer has launched 'VYOM', which will allow Emaar property investors to resell units through the digital channel.

Users 'gain complete control' over the resale process—creating listings, uploading property images, and managing inquiries directly.

Soon, the VYOM platform can help property owners with renting out those units too.

"This is a transformative step in Emaar’s ongoing digital evolution, offering a smarter, frictionless alternative to traditional resale methods," said a statement.

“As the real estate landscape shifts, so must we," said Mohamed Ali Alabbar, founder of Emaar.

"VYOM is more than a platform—it’s a new way of thinking about property resale. It puts autonomy, trust, and speed into the hands of our customers.”

VYOM 'tackle long-standing inefficiencies such as pricing discrepancies, market opacity, and communication gaps'.

The Dubai property market had been speculating about more transactions getting done digitally. With the biggest names such as Emaar and Damac now offering such an option, 'there will be intense pressure on other developers to follow suit', said an industry source.

"For Emaar with its legions of property investors based overseas, offering them direct buy and sell makes for a great move."

Damac's ecommerce site

Just recently, Damac Properties went live with an e-commerce property website that allows users to 'explore luxury properties through interactive 3D virtual tours, check live inventory, and reserve units in real-time all in seconds'.

The site also offers agents personalized links with lead attribution, 15-day tracking, full EoI (expression of interest), and invoicing capabilities.
