NTT Com to set up office in Dubai Internet City
Dubai: NTT Communications (NTT Com), a subsidiary of Nippon Telegraph and Telephone (NTT) Corp, is to open a representative office in Dubai Internet City (DIC) by mid-December, the company said.
"The new office will strengthen NTT Com's support for the growing number of locally based Japanese and other multinational corporate customers requiring one-stop domestic and global communications services," it said.
"NTT Com plans to offer a strong lineup of services such as IP-VPN and system integration by working closely with local carriers and system vendors."
NTT Com, the New York Stock Exchange-listed IT major, has received provisional approval to set up a representative office in DIC, one of the free trade zones created by the government of Dubai, who provides various incentives to foreign ICT companies.
The office will be headed by Hiroyuki Hosoi, currently Director of the Global Business Division. The office will start operations as soon as the final trade licence has been granted by DIC and the other remaining administrative procedures have been completed.
