Dubai: A new judge in the Dubai International Financial Centre’s (DIFC) courts was sworn in before His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

Shaikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and President of DIFC, was present during the ceremony that took place at Zabeel Palace.

Sir Richard Alan Field was sworn in as a judge at the DIFC’s Court of Appeal. Shaikh Mohammad wished Sir Richard success in his duties, and added that DIFC enjoys the respect and trust of international financial circles due to providing all means of security, stability and justice for all customers.

The ceremony was attended by Eisa Kazim, Governor of DIFC, and other officials.
