Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi-based conglomerate National Holding said Tuesday it plans to build its headquarters in the capital's new Capital Centre by 2011.

"From our Abu Dhabi base we will continue to target compelling business opportunities in the Mena region and emerging markets," National Holding's group chief operating officer Constantin Salameh said at a news conference.

The proposed project, located close to the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, will be developed by Bloom, the group's property arm. Salameh declined to give any estimates for the cost of the project.

The 14-storey office tower will house all National Holding business entities and offer the latest technologies and amenities for an optimal working environment.

National Holding consists of five business entities - Emirates International Investment Company, Bloom Properties, EXEED Industries, Rise General Trading and Petromal.
