Dubai: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, approved the board of directors and the advisory board of the Dubai Chamber of International Trade.

The chamber is the third entity of Dubai chambers that were recently formed by Sheikh Mohammed to accelerate the emirate’s economic transformation and position it as a global business hub.

In March, Sheikh Mohammed announced the plan to restructure Dubai Chamber into three units to accelerate digital and economic transformation. The formation of three chambers of commerce is aimed at supporting international trade and the digital economy and a five-year plan to increase Dubai’s foreign trade from Dh1.4 trillion to Dh2 trillion in next five years.
