Dubai: ADX-listed Investcorp Capital has confirmed a new CEO, with ex-Aldar and National Bank of Kuwait executive Sana Khater taking over from September 1.

Sana has more than 35 years of experience in 'financial and strategic leadership' at listed and private companies. There were also stints at Waha Capital and NBK Capital.

She takes over from Mohamed Aamer, who has been interim CEO since March 2025.

"She successfully led businesses through international growth, complex transformations, capital allocations, and corporate governance initiatives," said a statement. "She brings profound understanding of a complementary set of industries, including private equity, real estate, asset management, and financial services."

Mohammed Alardhi, Chairman of Investcorp Capital, said: “Abu Dhabi continues to strengthen its position as a global hub for investment firms, and I am confident that Sana will harness this momentum.”

On ADX, Investcorp Capital's share is trading at Dh1.64, which is just over 17% lower in the year-to-date.
