Phase 1 of the Marasi Business Bay is complete with the opening of the marina component. The 157-berth members-only waterside facility spans 40,000 square metres.
The developer, Dubai Properties, has appointed ART Marine as the operator of Marasi Marina. The deal, which came into effect in January, mandates ART Marine with managing the entire premises, inclusive of its water and onshore areas as well as other ancillary marina facilities.
The marina has eight interconnected piers that can accommodate vessels up to 35 meters in length.
According to The Leading Maritime Capitals report by Menon Economics, Dubai was among the top 10 cities in 2017 and projected to grow to be the sixth most important maritime centre by 2020.
According to Raed Al Nuaimi, Group CEO of Dubai Properties, “Marasi Marina offers a picturesque backdrop to the much-anticipated waterfront living community that is taking shape in the middle of Business Bay.
