Dubai: Ras Al Khaimah-based pharmaceutical company Julphar registered a 10.43 per cent year-on-year increase in profit to Dh455.1 million in the first half of the year. The company’s sales increased 9.39 per cent year-on-year to Dh761.7 million in the first half. Profit during the second quarter stood at Dh218 million, up 2.94 per cent year on year. Sales during the second quarter were driven by private market sales which saw a year-on-year growth of 13.9 per cent.
