Gulf Petrochem’s Fujairah terminal gets ISO accreditation
The certification helps the company to implement its vision
Abu Dhabi: Gulf Petrochem’s Fujairah terminal has been awarded with ISO certification for its quality, occupational health, safety and environmental policies, the company said in a statement.
It said TUV Nord, the German-based Classification Agency carried out an extensive assessment of all certifications in March 2014.
Thangapandian, Executive Director and Board Member at Gulf Petrochem said it helps the company build a foundation for Gulf Petrochem to move into Phase II of its expansion plans.
“The certification ensures we implement our vision for additional tank capacity and plans for a manifold pumping station to connect all terminals in Fujairah, under the protocol that ISO certification demands.”
