Etisalat's 2014 net profit jumps 26 per cent

The company proposes a dividend of 70 fills per share along with a 10 per cent bonus

Dubai: Etisalat said on Thursday its net profits after royalty jumped 26 per cent in 2014 to be at Dh8.9 billion, and proposed a dividend of 70 fills per share and 10 per cent bonus shares.

The company's consolidated revenues also rose to Dh48.8 billion and increased year over year by 26 per cent, it said in an emailed statement. Aggregate subscriber base reached 169 million representing net addition of 21 million subscribers during the last 12 months.
