Dubai: Etisalat ON Thursday launched a new scheme called the Unlimited STD plan which offers significant reductions in calls for businesses.
Etisalat's Unlimited STD plan for its business landline customers will offer unlimited talk time for only Dh19/a month/line from fixed to fixed lines within the UAE. National calls will now be completely free.

Today, business landline customers enjoy a 24x7 offpeak in addition to which they will now also enjoy a 10 per cent discount on international calls added to the savings. This will translate into a 45 per cent discount for all international calls .
The Unlimited STD plan will be offered to customers using ISDN PRI (Primary Rate Interface) services as well as regular business landlines.
The ISDN PRI service from Etisalat is used to make multiple inbound and outbound voice calls.
Trials
Furthering its vision of bringing the latest technology and advanced services in the UAE to expand customers' reach, Etisalat has announced the trial of advanced Long Term Evolution (LTE) technology, popularly known as the latest step toward the 4th generation (4G) of radio technologies designed to increase the capacity and speed of mobile networks.
This pilot project brings the first LTE application in the Middle East. Through LTE, Etisalat will be able to provide a downlink speed of 140Mbps and 50Mbps uplink speed.
