Etisalat reduces GCC roaming tariffs for data, text and calls

New rates introduced in coordination with the TRA to encourage services within the region

Last updated:

Dubai: Etisalat has further reduced its Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) roaming rates for voice calls, SMS and data, starting from April 1.

The telecom operator said in a statement that both prepaid and post-paid customers will enjoy discounted roaming rates of up to 29 per cent on data, outgoing voice calls to UAE, GCC and local destinations and outgoing SMS while travelling to any GCC countries through any roaming partner.

The new rates are introduced in coordination with the Telecom Regulatory Authority (TRA) to encourage roaming services within the GCC at affordable rates.

For even bigger savings, etisalat customers can also choose to subscribe to any of its data and combo roaming packages, offering non-stop roaming data usage in more than 100 countries for as low as Dh35 per day.
