Abu Dhabi: Etihad Rail and Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) on Sunday signed an operations and maintenance agreement.
The agreement is in line with the first phase of the project; the 264 kilometre route for the transportation of sulphur. The agreement stipulates that for the next 30 years, Etihad Rail will be responsible for the maintenance and management of the rail’s facilities and the transportation of sulphur, while Adnoc will be responsible for loading sulphur and unloading it at the treatment plants.
