Etihad Airways, startAD sign deal to boost start-ups

Deal will develop entrepreneurship in UAE through knowledge exchange

Dubai: Etihad Airways and startAD, an innovation and entrepreneurship platform based out of New York University Abu Dhabi, announced they have signed a memorandum of understanding.

The agreement is to develop the entrepreneurship ecosystem in the UAE through the exchange of knowledge, expertise, and training.

Through the Venture Launchpad, startAD will provide Etihad early access to high-calibre start-ups in focus areas of the airline. Meanwhile, Etihad will offer expertise on matters of aviation, big data, logistics, and cargo transportation to start-ups enrolled with startAD.
