Damascus: Nasser Mohammad Al Sharhan, Director-General of the Ministry of Energy, head of the UAE delegation participating at the seventh Syrian International Oil and Gas Exhibition has confirmed the UAE's engagement in the exhibition comes in the framework of distinguished ties between the UAE and Syria in various fields, especially oil, gas and energy.
In a statement Al Sharhan said UAE participation came at an invitation received by Mohammad Bin Dha'en Al Hameli, Minister of Energy, from Sufian Al Alao, Syrian Minister of Oil and Mineral Resources.
