NPCC starts developing oil field

Abu Dhabi: The National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC) started this week the first stage of development operations at the new Jesewrah oil field of the Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operations (Adco), a report by Al Ittihad said.

In March, Adco awarded NPCC the $560 million (Dh2.05 billion) project to develop the oilfield south east of Abu Dhabi.

The project includes a central gas separation unit and a remote gas-separation unit, a system to collect crude oil and production support systems, as well as a main oil line to Asab, the newspaper report said.
