Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI) has called on American companies to increase their investments in the industrial sector in the emirate.

Mohammad Thani Murshid Al Rumaithi, Chairman of the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry and ADCCI, made the statement during a meeting with Michael Corbin, US Ambassador to the UAE, in which they discussed ways to enhance cooperation in investment and industry between Emirati companies operating in Abu Dhabi and American companies.

Al Rumaithi stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation between companies and businessmen from the UAE and UAE, and urged American companies to increase their industrial investments in Abu Dhabi. He urged American companies to invest and benefit from various facilities and services provided by the relevant authorities in industrial cities in the emirate, which is increasingly attracting international industrial companies from various parts of the world.

Al Rumaithi added that ADCCI is continuously coordinating and cooperating with the American Business Council in Abu Dhabi and the UAE to increase the contribution of American companies in the UAE’s focus on economic development, and to open new avenues and opportunities for businessmen and companies from the UAE and US.

Present during the meeting were Mohammad Hilal Al Muhairi, Director General of ADCCI, John Simmons, Commercial Counsellor at the US Embassy in the UAE, and Gregory Golden, Chairman of AmCham Abu Dhabi.
