Dubai: Dubai Industrial City, a member of Tatweer Dubai, said Wednesday it has completed the construction of 64 showrooms equipped with storage facilities at the warehouse complex. The showrooms are designed for use as offices or retail and product display areas.

Available for lease, the showrooms feature two double floors each spanning 5,000 square feet as well as an additional 5,000 square feet of storage space at the rear of the building.

"Delivering these 64 showrooms demonstrates the fast-track progress achieved by Dubai Industrial City in providing world class facilities that complement the needs of the township," said Rashed Al Ansari, vice-president of Dubai Industrial City

"This project is another milestone in the development of Dubai Industrial City as a full-fledged industrial destination that will offer comprehensive facilities for offices, product display and storage space," he added.

Ideal for small and medium industrial enterprises, all showrooms at the warehouse complex offer modular designs that can be expanded in multiples of 5,000 square feet depending on clients' requirements.

"The flexibility of design is intended for companies whose requirements range from logistics and storage to training, administration and retailing. Companies might want to have facilities that are in multiples of 5,000 square meters or even join the warehouses at the back of the showroom into one single unit to meet their operational needs and the design allows us to do that with ease and comfort," Al Ansari said.

The 560 million square foot Dubai Industrial City is a comprehensive one stop industrial and commercial destination that provides tenants with a critical competitive advantage in human resources and business operations.

Complementary facilities offered by Dubai Industrial City include 2.8 million square feet of open storage yards, three million square feet of warehouses in addition to 64 showrooms, transPARK end-to-end logistics solutions, a labour village to accommodate 10,500 tenants, training programmes by Dubai Industrial Academy, as well as four operational office buildings.

The dedicated industrial destination features six industrial clusters including food and beverage, base metal, mineral products, chemicals, transport equipment and parts, and machinery and mechanical equipment.
