DP World, Borouge ink logistics deal

Dubai: DP World signed an agreement with Borouge on Tuesday to provide the chemicals and plastics company with logistic services at its Jebel Ali Port.

The agreement includes technology-driven handling operations of containers and the wide connectivity the port provides regionally and internationally.

Borouge will also use the port’s storage facilities. The contract was signed by Abdul Aziz Al Hajri, CEO of Abu Dhabi Polymers Company (Borouge), and Mohammad Al Muallem, senior vice-president and managing director, DP World, UAE Region.
