DED unveils two new eServices

Dubai: Reserving and renewing trade names can now be done online.

This was revealed recently by the Dubai Department of Economic Development (DED) as it unveiled the two new electronic-based services on its website, www.dubaided.gov.ae.

The initiative, the DED said, is aimed at boosting efficiency of operation, enhancing productivity and ensuring added-value service to its clients.

"DED has been utilising the internet to serve its customers better, ease business registration procedures and create an investor-friendly environment in Dubai.

"DED will continue to provide more tech-driven and value-added services to cope with the growth of businesses," said Mohammad Shael, CEO, Business Registration and Licensing Division at DED.

"DED believes in continuous improvement and is implementing the eStrategy to enhance and expand its online services according to best practices and customer feedback."
