DEC holds seminar on mergers and acquisitions megatrends

Dubai: Dubai Economic Council (DEC) held a seminar on “Megatrends in Mergers and Acquisitions” at DIFC on Wednesday.

Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansouri, UAE Minister of Economy, attended the event along with other officials and industry experts. The UAE has been ranked the 19th most attractive country for M & A activity globally, gaining eight places over the last five years, according to the M & A Attractiveness Index. The Index is published by “Cass Business School” and ranks 131 countries on their ability to attract and sustain domestic and inward mergers and acquisition deals.
