Dubai: These days, luxury watch and jewellery brands are as likely to show up in Dubai offplan launches as those from the automotive one. In a week that saw Mercedes-Benz associated with such a launch, the Swiss watchmaker Franck Muller came up with one of its own.

It’s project with the developer London Gate will lead to a 450 meter high project in Dubai Marina, and with the ambition to be the world’s ‘tallest residential tower’. Not just that, it will feature the ‘tallest residential clock tower’.

“With our latest project, where architectural opulence meets timeless luxury - we bring Franck Muller’s first-ever branded residences,” said Eman Taha, CEO of London Gate, which recently launched the Maya V and Naidne I and II.

Erol Baliyan, Managing Director, Franck Muller, said "We are delighted to expand in the Middle East with this unprecedented partnership with London Gate.

As for Franck Muller, the brand had been ‘strategically exploring’ the branded residential market in the UAE. The plan is ‘bring the heritage of brand excellence to the realm of real estate’, said Erol Baliyan, Managing Director at the company. “It is incredible to launch Franck Muller's first-ever real estate collaboration in a world-class city like Dubai.

“This marks the beginning of a new chapter for our brand. We are excited to introduce a record-breaking legacy for Franck Muller— which is slated to be the first of many iconic ventures that will unfold globally."

The project eyes completion in 2026.
