Skyline University College (SUC), proudly announces the launch of three new Master’s programs for the upcoming academic year. These include the Master of Financial Technology and the Master of Strategic Leadership under the School of Business, and the Master of Science in Cybersecurity under the School of Computing.
These cutting-edge programs are designed to meet the growing demand for specialized professionals in key industries shaping the global economy.
Established in 1990 and located in the University City of Sharjah, Skyline University College is accredited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) of the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. SUC offers a dynamic learning environment that combines academic rigor with real-world application, preparing students to thrive in a competitive global economy.
“The introduction of these programs marks a milestone in our mission to deliver forward-thinking education that aligns with the UAE’s innovation and digital economy goals,” said Prof. Mohammad In’airat, Vice Chancellor of Skyline University College. “We aim to equip our students with the skills, knowledge, and vision to lead in a rapidly evolving global landscape.”
The Master of Financial Technology (FinTech) program will empower students to understand the intersection of finance and technology, preparing them for roles in digital banking, blockchain, and financial data analytics. The Master of Strategic Leadership is tailored for professionals aspiring to lead organizations through transformation, innovation, and sustainable growth.
“Today’s business environment calls for leaders who are agile, strategic, and technologically aware,” said Dr. Naseem Abidi, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Operations) and Interim Dean of the School of Business. “Our new master programs are designed to bridge academic knowledge with real-world application, ensuring our graduates are industry-ready from day one.”
Simultaneously, the Master of Science in Cybersecurity addresses the pressing need for cybersecurity experts across sectors. The program emphasizes hands-on training in threat analysis, cyber defence, ethical hacking, and information assurance.
“Cybersecurity is no longer an IT issue—it’s a boardroom priority,” said Dr. Ghassan Issa, Dean of the School of Computing. “Our Master program in Cybersecurity prepares students to anticipate, prevent, and respond to emerging digital threats, reinforcing the digital resilience of organizations.”
