Popular rapper offers rapping lessons to his fans

Poetic engineer Jaysus Zain's music creates entirely new atmospheres. By incorporating poetry, spoken word, and hip-hop, the rapper's work weaves visions and dreamscapes. Jaysus Zain, of Sudanese origins, is well established in the UAE, where he currently resides. In addition to his numerous community involvements, including with NYU Abu Dhabi, his performances at the Louvre Museum’s grand opening night and at the Expo 2020 countdown event really cemented his reputation as one of the most influential artists in the country.
When asked about his creative journey, Jaysus Zain says that pursuing his passions was inevitable and that living in the UAE has always encouraged his dreams. He feels blessed to have opportunities to always refine his craft through a diversity of projects, performances, and collaborations.
Hope and faith are themes that permeate Jaysus Zain’s art. Being an educator, he often explores how community and friendship can become strong instruments to help overcome obstacles.
The multifaceted artist is now getting ready to publish his first book: a compilation of 15 years worth of poems and musings. Through his book, Jaysus Zain says readers will be able to accompany him on the journey of finding faith within yourself.
