A delegation from the Dubai Ambulance Corporation headed by its CEO, Khalifa Al-Drai, visited the Saudi German Hospital in Dubai to discuss a joint cooperation between the two parties in saving lives, aiding the wounded, treating patients and reviewing the new expansions of the hospital. This includes three specialized hospitals for orthopedics, children and women that are scheduled to open soon.

The delegation discussed with Dr. Reem Othman, the regional director of Saudi German Hospitals Group and a number of officials, and found ways to support cooperation, especially with regard to receiving critical cases of injured patients and providing faster and more efficient services for Dubai ambulance patients.

During the visit, the delegation inspected the medical equipment and preparations in the emergency department of the hospital. The team discussed with Saudi German Hospital on the possibility of helping with the treatment of chronic and incurable cases that come from the vicinity of the Al Barsha area where the hospital is located and all areas of Dubai. The goal is saving time, effort and precious seconds to save lives. The presence of the new emergency department will also help the new Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital. The emergency medical beds in Saudi German Dubai were increased to 55 beds, making it the largest in the private sector in Dubai.

Dr. Reem Othman said that the successful joint cooperation with Dubai Ambulance achieved in the past years has the desired goal to preserve the safety of patients and the emergency cases received by the hospital. She thanked its CEO, Khalifa Al Drai for his constant keenness to provide ambulance and medical services to residents in Dubai and his eagerness to establish and strengthen the relationship between the public and private sectors, which reflects positively on patients and their safety.
