Amsaan Accessible Tours (AAT), a leader in inclusive tourism for hard-of-hearing travelers, has launched a transformative initiative: "Travel with Bova." This project provides guided tours conducted entirely in sign language, a significant milestone in inclusive tourism. Launching from the UAE, a key AAT destination, "Travel with Bova" benefits both the tourism industry and Deaf travelers.

The program offers unique guided tours around the world, led by Volodymyr Bozhko (Bova), a senior Deaf tour guide with over 15 years of experience. Bova, fluent in International Sign Language, has guided tourists from various countries like the USA, China, and former CIS countries. He possesses extensive knowledge of European destinations, exotic islands, and Southeast Asian countries, even organizing multi-country tours. Bova will be joined by Dmytro, another expert guide with experience in over 50 countries and a deep understanding of Deaf traveler needs.

"Travel with Bova" aims to provide accessible travel experiences for the Deaf community. Removing communication barriers, the initiative allows travelers to immerse themselves in different cultures through sign language. While the UAE is a popular AAT destination, the project will introduce tourists to a wider range of locations.

This project addresses the global loss of US$150 billion due to overlooked accessible tourism. It leverages specialists, cutting-edge technology, and a commitment to crafting unforgettable experiences for Deaf travelers.

"Catering to over 430 million people with hearing loss, 'Travel with Bova' will set new standards," said Alex Koltsov, CEO of Amsaan Accessible Tours. "Last year, over 170 Deaf tourists joined our tours in Dubai, and we have 66 scheduled for upcoming tours. This project underscores our dedication to inclusivity and cultural exchange, and we believe it will create lasting impacts in the travel industry."

"Travel with Bova" empowers Deaf travelers, fostering independence and encouraging the industry to consider their needs. It bridges the gap between Deaf and hearing communities, promoting mutual understanding and respect. AAT plans to expand its offerings based on tourist demand, including additional sign languages and destinations. The company is also working on tours for individuals with other disabilities and plans to host the Deaf Festival in Dubai this December, further solidifying their commitment to inclusive tourism.

"I'm excited to work with AAT and be part of a company pioneering Deaf tourism globally," said Volodymyr Bozhko, Senior Deaf Tour Guide. "The chosen destinations offer rich cultural experiences, making them ideal for immersive and accessible travel. Leading these tours entirely in sign language is an honor. I look forward to connecting with Deaf travelers worldwide, building a community, and creating unforgettable memories."

Initial tour destinations for "Travel with Bova" include European countries and Japan. Upcoming tours with active bookings include the Canary Islands (August), Madeira and the Azores (September), Portugal & Spain (September), and Egypt & Jordan (October/November). A Bali tour is planned for March 2025. Finland, Thailand, Germany, and Japan will be added soon.

Interested travelers can check tour dates and book spots on the dedicated "Travel with Bova" page or through AAT's social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok).
